Weak performance VM gaming

Featured Replies

Hello,

After building my 2 in 1 gaming server, i'm having some problems in gaming.

High cpu usage, low gopu usage, weak performance in gaming.

Specs:

Ryzen 7 2700

Gigabyte X470 Aorus Ultra Gaming (F3 BIOS)

4x8Gb DDR4 3000Mhz Cl15 Crucial Ram

Zotac GTX 1660 Super Graphics card PCI-e 16x

Asus GT710 2Gb PCI-e 4x slot (unraid boot only)

Fujitsu D2607 (LSI 9211-8i) card

3x4Tb Seagate Barracuda

2x3Tb Hitachi

2x480Gb cache drive (raid 1)

1x480Gb Toshiba Q300 Unassigned Device just for VM

Do you have isolated the cores, to work only with the vm?

kernel /bzimage
append vfio-pci.ids=8086:10bc isolcpus=8-14,9-15 vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 initrd=/bzroot

Recently i removed my Quad Intel Nic, and doesn't remove vfio-pci ids...

Yes, it's isolated.

I think i can remove this parts "vfio -pci.ids=8086:10bc vfio_iommu_type1.allow_unsafe_interrupts=1 "
