My USB failed and I was able to successful restore to a new USB and get a new license. My issue is that the drive configuration has changed since the backup was made. I installed an additional Cache drive and  added a larger parity drive. Is there any way to determine the original drive configuration from the old USB drive? 

Everything about your configuration is in the config folder on Flash. If you can't copy that to your new Flash then safest thing is to assign all disks as data and none as parity, then start and see which ones mount. Only parity should be unmountable. Come back for more advice if you have problems.
