Trial with new 2.0 usb keeps disconnecting

Featured Replies

I am running a trial on a new Sandisk Glide 32gb 2.0 usb that keeps disconnecting randomly usually within 8hrs - 12hrs. I am running it on a Gigabyte GA-z77n-wifi with a i7 3770K. There doesn't seem to be an option to disable 3.0. The usb is UEFI boot enabled and its set to boot UEFI first, would changing it to boot Legacy only correct the issue? Is there any other things I should try?

Looking at the specs for that mobo, it also has USB2 ports available. Are you plugging into those?
