I have an asmedia chipped sata controller card that is showing up at boot but when in unraid it does not see my drives. Has anyone been successful with this kind of card? Or any alternative cards with 4 port worth trying. i would get a hba but I don't have enough pcie

    Post your diagnostics.  Does the controller show drives connected at boot?

    Controller is being detected correctly but no devices are connected, both ports report link down:

    If no devices are detected by the controller bios they won't also be detect by Unraid.
