My USB 3 Ports Do Not Work On My New Mobo - Are The Supported ?

Hi - is there an easy way to work out if my USB 3 ports are supported by Unraid or not ?

 

It is a new mobo and it is only the USB 3 ports not working where as the USB 2 ones are.

What's not working on them?  Certainly looks like they are ( a driver is loaded )

There's some issue with the USB3 controller:

You might try with IOMMU disabled if not needed, also look for a bios update.

Still problems with the USB controller, most VIA devices have been very problematic since I can remember, good news they are not used in any recent PCs, you're probably better off getting an addon (non VIA) UBS controller if you really need to use a USB disk.

So I tried using my PCI card and that failed too.

 

That said I'm guessing it has a VIA chip set from this log...

This card has been used in my last server so I'm supprised it is been a bit of a problem as well.
