Hi!

 

I'm still running my first Unraid built, which is an AMD X4 845 & 16GB of RAM for a 8 drive system totalling 23TB of capacity.

 

At first I was using this system only as a NAS + CrashPlan. Right now I'm also running two Resilio-Sync dockers, NextCloud and few smaller dockers like DuckDNS.

 

I'm finding more and more often then CPU being at 100%, RAM being used also 70-100%. This renders some of the dockers unusable. I need to upgrade.

 

Can you recommend a CPU that will work without problems?

My priorities from most important to least:

1. Working without problems under load.

2. Power efficiency

3. Price

4. Compatible with DDR-3

 

I'm thinking Ryzen 5 1600 + HyperX 32GB of RAM on ASRock X370M Prob with Dell H310 controller.
