Can't run two VM's at once

Featured Replies

I have two vm's installed on my server, one Windows 10 and one Mac. The Mac has a GPU passed through, the windows does not. Both using different CPU pins, both work fine by themselves. My problem is as soon as I try to start both of them, one of them turns off. Windows is up and running fine, I go to start the Mac one and the Windows VM turns off right away. Any ideas where to look? I googled around but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

You should post your diagnostics.  Does the VM turn off or does it pause?

Without digging in deep, what I think you're seeing is that on the VM tab as soon as both VMs are started, it shows as nothing is installed.

Update to 6.8.0-rc7 to fix this.

So that did happen as well, but I was connected via VNC to the windows VM and when I started the Mac VM, the VNC window disconnected right away. I'll updated to rc7 once I finish an update in the VM.

I updated to RC7. I was able to get my mac vm to start up, but it acted like it wasn't connected to the internet. I go back to my main computer and my windows vm has shut down again.

Post a new set of diagnostics now that the one problem is fixed, and the logs aren't being cluttered by the other error

@mkleist You have 16GB in your server and both VMs are setup to use max 8GB. Use a fixed value for both and don't forget that unraid itself also needs some RAM + all your Dockers you use. Test it with fixed 4GB for both VMs.
