November 25, 20196 yr So I have a Network attached WD My cloud that I would like to decommission, id like to move all the data (3TB) to my array what would be the best way to do this? The mycloud had USB 3.0 my server has USB 3.0 as well just looking for ideas on how to do this as painless as possible
November 25, 20196 yr Hi pi, Unassigned Devices plugin would be your best bet. Install the plugin, then you should just be able to connect your WD MyCloud directly to your unRAID server via USB. Then, using the binhex-krusader Docker container (a file explorer-like program), be able to transfer the files directly from the USB drive to the array. Let me know if you need more detail, Torquewrench
November 26, 20196 yr Author Cool ty I like that idea Basically I'm mounting it as unassigned then using a docker file explorer to move the data Got it!
November 26, 20196 yr Author Is there a file explorer in the Unraid os gui? When connected to the machine and chose Unraid OS gui from the boot options?

"My Cloud storage devices, as well as other WD NAS devices, cannot be connected to a computer using the built in USB ports. These USB ports are designed to connect USB storage devices to Western Digital network hard drives for access over the network."
November 26, 20196 yr Author Well that's silly that's ok I've got it mounted unassigned now will have to go over the network then
November 26, 20196 yr Author So they leave you no option to get the data off without a network or shucking
