Unique Networking Issues

Featured Replies

Hello all sorry to bother you.

I have been using unraid for about 6 months. With no issues that couldnt be solved with a hr or so and a google page till now.

But the only way i can accsess it is through a hostname.

2 weeks ago i put a 2 port SPF+ card in my server as i wanted to have a PFSense VM. I am currently haveing the issue that i cant connect to my server using ip. (Static or DHCP) and it cant see anything else on the network. (To the pc im currently remoted in VIA hostname from and the switch it has to go through. Switch cant ping it.

and the interfaces arnt getting assigned the ip.

even haveing my old router do dhcp it never can connct to the internet.

All of my outer devices work fine with the new router Both DHCP and static ips wifi or hard wired.

You don't have a working eth0, that's the NIC Unraid uses for the GUI, check assignments in Settings -> Network Settings -> Interface rules.

If it's correctly assigned there you  can try resetting network config, delete network.cfg and network-rules.cfg on the flash/config and reboot, after rebooting might still need to check which NIC gets assigned as eth0, but you can change the order.
