saarg
That is not your Vantec card, but the motherboards controller. Looks like the Vantec card uses a Marvell controller and that have been troublesome in later kernels. Adding iommu=pt in the syslinux.conf might help, if not, you have to disable vt-d. [email protected]
I can disable vt-d but i am unfamiliar with adding iommu=pt in the syslinux.conf. Can you explain how to do that or point to a place that can? Quote Link to comment

Add iommu=pt to the append line to the desired boot mode(s) so it looks something like this: default menu.c32 menu title Lime Technology, Inc. prompt 0 timeout 50 label unRAID OS menu default kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot iommu=pt label unRAID OS GUI Mode kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui label unRAID OS Safe Mode (no plugins, no GUI) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot unraidsafemode label unRAID OS GUI Safe Mode (no plugins) kernel /bzimage append initrd=/bzroot,/bzroot-gui unraidsafemode label Memtest86+ kernel /memtest Quote Link to comment
