I really want to get a UPS now that I'm up in the big boy league with my 4224 .  I'm running a Corsair 650w PSU, so my rudimentary math skills tell me I need at least a 650w UPS.  So many of them cost $500+, but then I get to this:

$200 isn't cheap by any means, but it seems to have more than enough juice.

Will either of these do the job?  I just don't want to buy something that won't shut me down safely.

It is supported by apcupsd.  I suspect you could get away with less...but those with a Norco and UPS should be your guidance.
