So I have a weird issue.

 

I had 4 drives in my unraid server, 2 SSD and 2 4TB Western Digital. 1 is a Red the other is a blue.

 

Starting yesterday, the Red and the Blue drives will not be detected. Tried different controllers, other computers Sata and USB.. etc. They dont even make a sound when plugged into power.

 

My question is, is it possible that the drive heads got locked or something on these drives? My HD fail rate is really low, not sure how 2 newish drives could fail like this.

 

Any tips on how to troubleshoot this would be appreciated.
