December 7, 20196 yr Just today I started to have issues with Steam and I'm not sure why. This is what I got when I checked the directory permissions. drwxrwx---+ 1 nobody users 4096 Nov 23 02:41 Steam/ I'm new to linux so I'm positive I'm reading it right, but I should have access to the folder shouldn't I? What is it I'm doing wrong?
December 7, 20196 yr Community Expert Not nearly enough information. Is this over the network? From inside a VM or Docker?
December 7, 20196 yr Author Sorry I should have explained more. I'm trying to access the folder locally. Not through a VM or Docker just trying to navigate to it in File Explorer.

My user access is set to Read/Write. I have access to everything else in the Games share, only the Steam directory is giving me access issues.

December 8, 20196 yr Author It's still not working today, any other ideas? For some reason it's just my computer that can't access the one directory.

December 8, 20196 yr Author I couldn't immedietly find anything that looked similar or would solve my issue. I deleted my user from unraid and I'm able to access the directory again. I guess for now I'll just have it set to public.
