December 7, 20196 yr I am about to buy a few HDs to replace old drives that are getting more and more reallocation errors and such. Anyways, I see alot of threads here that talk about reliability but I did not find any that mention Cache Size (Hard Drive cache size 64mb / 256mb) Does Size matter ?

Not particularly with typical Unraid uses. It's more relevant for small files but most media files are in the gig size.

I mostly use Unraid for Plex and Backups. Backup files are smaller but since the backups are run automatically at night I'm not worried about that. Thank you !
