picat Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 My system: 5 Disks + 1 Parity Problem disk: sdc disk6 Dec 7 14:59 Start Array, everything is normal, watching Movie Dec 7 15:31 Movie file lost, and I find "Metadata CRC error detected at xfs_agfl_read_verify+0x80/0xc9 [xfs], xfs_agfl block 0x3 " from syslog Dec 7 15:37 Shutdown system Dec 7 15:39 Start system again Dec 7 15:40:47 disk6 unmount and run xfs repair when reboot system After that I try to reboot system and array many times. but didn't work. So I format disk6 and hope my data could be rebuilt ( because I think pairty disk could be ). There are about 1-2T data on Disk6, How could I get it back? Thank U~~ syslog.txt Quote Link to comment

Ohh, I missed this, format is never part of a rebuild, it deletes all data on the disk and updates parity. The correct way to fix your problem would be to check filesystem, not rebuild. Now, only option is to restore from backup or use a file recovery util like UFS explorer. Quote Link to comment
