APC UPS - Correct reporting?

Hi,

I just installed my new UPS, APC Back-UPS 1400VA (BX1400UI), and was suprised how low the power consumption of my system is.

Does this seem resonable for the system in my signature, the system is more or less idle, just a few seeding torrents reading from the array, but all disks  are spun up?

At the console, type apcaccess status

and see what the daemon is currently showing.

Maybe "OUTPUTV" doesn't show for all UPS models, I just thought this model was supposed to show that since it got AVR, but maybe the outbup voltage isn't monitored?

Perhaps apcupsd hasn't been updated for that model. It's an open source project, not endorsed or supported by APC. http://www.apcupsd.org/

If it bothers you enough to play around, you could try installing NUT from the Apps tab and see if you get better reporting. https://networkupstools.org/
