Simple curl or wget scheduled script to pull TO Unraid?

Featured Replies

I'm having trouble finding a way of doing this.  I'd like to have a simple app of some sort grab a URL and download the file on a scheduled basis.  This is for pulling a backup file from Hubitat, which is exposed through a URL.  Every search I do around this gets me to how to backup Unraid configs.  That's not what I'm looking for.  I looked at some of the BitTorrent apps as a way of doing this, but I'm not finding one that lets me set up a daily schedule.

I also looked at Duplicati, but that seems to only support backing up Unraid content to another location.  The reverse of what I'm looking for.

Sorry if I'm asking this in the wrong subforum.

Why not just use curl or wget via the user scripts plugin at whatever cron schedule you choose?

Why not, indeed!  Squid, you rock!  Thanks for the quick response.
