Edimax EN-9320TX-E 10GBe Nic Support

Featured Replies

Hi

First time poster in here. About to purchase a license but trying to get things installed and ready first. I'm having a real hard time getting my Edimax E-9320
TX-E 10 Gigabit Ethernet T card to fire up.  It seems to be listed in the hardware but does not turn on or become an eth device.

The chipset appears to be the following accprding to the PCI Devices and IOMMU Groups section of System Device:

01:00.0 Ethernet controller: Tehuti Networks Ltd. TN9710P 10GBase-T/NBASE-T Ethernet Adapter

The support page for the nic on Edimax'x site lists the following support:

Windows Server 2012 R2, Server 2012, Server 2008R2, Server 2016
Windows 10, Windows 8.1, Windows 7 (32/64-bit)
Linux 4.x, 3.x, Linux 2.6.x (32/64-bit)
MAC OS Sierra (10.12.x)
VMware ESXi 6.0, 5.5, 5.1
Microsoft Hyper-V
Linux KVM
Oracle VirtualBox

I've check and after installing the drivers it works in Windows 10 so I know there probably isn't anything wrong with the card (and i've tried two anyway) but is there something I am doing wrong.

I tried to search for installing drivers but from my limited unraid and linux knowledge i'm guessing that would be lost on reboot anyway and needs to be natively supported from the usb? Is that right?

I've tried the stable and the next versions with the same result. I've also tried it in different PCI-E slots with nothing else in except a gpu with still not luck. Tried it on two different motherboards also.

Would really love some help and I'm sorry if this is covered somewhere else, I have had a pretty good look trying to find it via google and these forums.

Cheers

Mark

Please post the diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics

There's no driver, you can request for the driver to be added, as long as there's a working driver it's usually added to the next Unraid release.

Thank you :)
