Hello everyone,

 

i wanted to add a second graphics card in my unraid hardware configuration. After i add the GTX 970 in the second PCIe x16 slot, my two SATA controllers doesnt work anymore. In unraid no other disks are detected but the motherboard sata disks.

If i unplug the second graphics card, everything works fine.

Out of PCIe lanes on the motherboard? I mean 6 SSDs and 6 HDD on a sata card when you add the GPU it may kill the lanes needed for the SATA cards. When CPU and motherboard are you using?

i got a AMD Ryzen 5 2600 with a MSI B450-A PRO..

Check out your manual. When using the 2 x16 slots 3 of the 1x slots become unavailable. Straight out of lanes.
