December 10, 20196 yr Forum goes down every day for a couple of minutes at 8AM my time (12AM PST) Is this known and expected, like it does a daily reboot or something?
December 10, 20196 yr It did happen to me as well for the past days, I thought they are working on the server hosting the forum.
December 10, 20196 yr We have backup script execute at that time which causes timeouts / 502 errors for a minute or two. I'll try to optimize the backup scripts to lessen the impact.
December 11, 20196 yr Author Ok, good to know there's a reason, great if you can improve it but it's not a big deal, just a little annoying since it gets me almost every day during my first forum browsing, but it's impossible to choose an hour convenient for everyone, with the Earth being round and all.
