shaunvis
I'm an ex-Synology user and so far love unraid. One thing I miss though is once in a while I'd need to send someone a file & I could generate a link to the folder or file & email the link, then they could download what they needed. You could set a password or an expiration time for the link too. I don't want to open up access to my server, set up users, etc. I just want to be able to make the occasional file or folder available to someone via a web link. Is there a docker or anything on unpaid that does that? 1 Quote Link to comment
BRiT
Have you already tried to use a third party cloud app like Syncplicity from a WinOs/iOS desktop? It's free for up to 10 GB. Quote Link to comment
shaunvis
I haven't heard of that one before. I'll check it out, thanks. Ideally I'd like to be able to click on a file or folder on my server and generate a weblink with options for password or link expiration. Quote Link to comment
BRiT
Yeah, I don't see anything else (available as Dockers) that doesn't also require you to have to create and manage users or for you to pay money. Quote Link to comment

Nextcloud will do exactly that as far as the weblink and expiration. However, it requires a little more work to set up if you want to randomly share files from the array. The external storage plugin in nextcloud is what you need if you want to pursue it. Quote Link to comment

Cool, I'll give that a shot. Thanks Quote Link to comment
