November 25, 201015 yr Hello, In the past two weeks I've gone from unRaid 4.5.8 through the 4.6 rc's all seem to be doing the same thing ... I am running six instances of handbrake from three different computers on files located on my unraid. (Most files being converted are on the cache drive now as the bulk of conversion was completed) What seems to happen periodically is that one computer at a time will get blocked by unraid for about a minute at a time causing major problems for handbrake and leaving me with many corrupted partially encoded video files to manually sort through. The unraid system is using an Asus P5Q-E motherboard with an E5200 processor and 8GB DDR2 memory and two Roswill RC-218 cards for a total of 13 drives. I have run memtest since this started happening and have run reiserfsck on all drives recently too. (after a kernal bug crash) The computers accessing the unraid system are Windows 7-64 bit systems and prior to two weeks ago I converted many, many videos this way with no trouble ... Is this Samba related ... or where should I start troubleshooting beyond this? Thanks for your time, Bobby The syslog just restarted and I have no current saved copies ... so when I get a chance to restart the server later, I will try to grab a fresh one and one after a 'lockout'. at the same time I guess I'll post the 'go' file ...

(dir or ls) It doesn't happen if I am only using one computer to access unRaid ... but if more than one does at the wrong time ... and then a directory listing is called from a script ...
