I'm not sure. I can only revert back to 6.10.2, but I want to say the problem happened either with that upgrade or prior. I can try reverting to 6.10.2 and see if it works.

6.11.0 has been released.  Won't have time to test it for a couple of days

I upgraded to 6.11.0 and the issue is still there. Also one of my drives failed shortly after upgrading but I'm sure that's unrelated. Hopefully that's just a bad SATA cable.

Sorry but, check for what?

Please check your shinobi.subdomain.conf in your proxy-conf folder.  find "set $upstream_app shinobi;"  I changed this to "set $upstream_app myipaddress;" that is the address of my shinobi container. When I changed this, my swag reverse proxy started working correctly.

Hope this helps.

I've tried that in the past and it didn't work. I just tried again and it's the same result. I think it's an issue with newer versions of Unraid having a bug that won't allow SWAG to work with containers that are on custom networks aka VLANs. Is your shinobi container assigned to a VLAN? User @ax77 above is having the same problem I'm having.

hi all

anyone know of a way to make shinobi overwrite recordings i.e., once the HDD is full to delete the oldest recording and keep the new one

I have my settings set to keep all recordings for 7 days, but it just seems to keep going

Yes, I have the Shinobi on  a VLAN. I followed @SpaceInvaderOne setup.  I also have pfsense setup in VM that the VLAN is configured on.

Odd, I'm using a similar setup except OPNsense and it's not a VM it's on a physical router. I have the VLAN properly set up on my router and switch. It was previously working for me and suddenly stopped after one of the updates. I'm on 6.11.5 as well.

I run a similar setup as @dawhit. Pfsense on vm with Shinobi on vlan. My shinobi.subdomain.conf is correct as his example. Not sure what else is different. I'm currently on 6.9.2 because when I upgraded to 6.10.x my Shinobi reverse proxy stopped working. Reverting got it back up. I haven't tried upgrading to 6.11.5.

Hi guys,

Hi

All my recorded previous day videos are being deleted - in other words I only have recorded video from "Today" only.

For both cameras' I have "No Of days to keep videos" at 9999, was blank so I tried 99999 but still gets them deleted.

I have 1.5T left on UNRAID and the main screen shows 85%

Thanks

Hi

I have updated via :8080/super

Now I have errors "TypeError: s.getConfigWithBranding is not a function"

I have tried following https://hub.shinobi.video/articles/view/sIuhLW2A0E8A7K3

So I opened the docker console

sh UPDATE-v2-to-v3.sh

which failed

sudo apt update results sudo not found!!!!

Am I using the right console???

Thanks

I ended up creating a new docker using ivaxor/shinobi build - much better interface (probably just the current update?) and is working great so far!

Update function works also.

so i finally got it setup.. but am i doing something wrong? its horriblly slow choppy mostly black screens

i going to have least 30 reolink cameras hooked up to shinobi if it works ..  right now i got 6.. but its god awful slow.  its not perfectly smooth like the Reolink software in windows..  if you double click in shinbio  the camera  it may work  and the clock shows it updates like ever 4 5 seconds.. not every second..  so its not streaming like 30fps....  or it a gray screen with a spinning wheel in the center.. or its just a black screen....

what is going on..   why cant it just load and work like the reolink software...  is there something i need to get it to work smoothly ?

Hi,

Have been receiving the following error in Shinobi.

From the Shinobi UI:

I don't believe I have any space issues.

First off, thanks for the template spaceinvaderone!

I'm having a little play around at the moment and it all seems to work fine. Just 1 camera so far, but looking to add at least 2 more.

I'm wondering though whether it's possible to use Pushover for notifications? I'm sure I read somewhere that Shinobi does support it, but I can't find the option in this particular version.

any update on the shinobi pro?   as it cant be installed... i install it  like the video ..  you do the video

but then you gotta do the

```
Database is not running or unreachable
Please ensure it is started then restart Shinobi.
By default Shinobi uses MariaDB, an SQL server, as the database engine.
If you need to install the database files again you may follow this article.
```

i try to do that   but that doesnt help...  any update to fix it properly so we dont need to do that?

 or what  needs to be changed?

and the error log after i run those extra commands is

text error warn system array login

@SpaceInvaderOne how do you install your version of shinobi... so far for a year..  it will no longer install from your video...  i get the database error issue  from a new install  and the logs from a new install...  doesnt matter how much i delete the appdata folder and reinstall your version and then login  i can not get this installed...  the maria db  error  and then telling you to run these commands doesnt help...  can you try on a clean system...  whats going on

  • 1 month later...

Hi all,
I am getting the following errors in the Shinobi UI every few seconds:

rubmKbNjnE : Jk7abxh8IV
FFMPEG STDERRa few seconds ago
DTS 153361625851598, next:239900000 st:0 invalid dropping PTS 153361625851598, next:239900000 invalid dropping st:0

Have no clue how to solve this. Have trawled the forums and Google for similar cases but cannot find anything to help me.
Anyone who might be able to assist?

Hello! sorry for my bad english.

I just installed shinobi on unraid with 2 RLC-410 5MP reolink camera. it work fine 😊

But I can't find "global detection setting" on edit camera:

234724

On spaceinvader video "global detection settings" appears...:

234725

How can I activate detection?

Thank you in advance 😊

Edit : ok It's vey simpply.. juste pass simple to advanced view... shame on me 😅
