MCE Events detected on my server

Featured Replies

Hi there,

My server had an unexpected reboot and when it came back up I was greeted with a notification from Fix Common Problems that looks like this:

Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged.

I grabbed mcelog from NerdPack and executed it, but it gave me an error:

mcelog: ERROR: AMD Processor family 23: mcelog does not support this processor.  Please use the edac_mce_amd module instead.

NerdPack doesn't seem to have and edac_mce_amd module... any thoughts on what I should execute to get more information on the error?

I didn't see any obvious edac errors in the syslog, but I've attached my diagnostics in case anyone can help.

Thanks!disk.cfgdisk.cfg

For some reason, certain hardware combinations issue an MCE when initializing the CPU's.  Yours is one of them, and nothing to worry about.

Thanks, Squid. I saw you mentioned that in another thread so I appreciate the confirmation that it’s true for my cpu!
