December 20, 20196 yr My server (6.8.0) has, i assume been crashing since yesterday and dropping off my network, forcing me to power cycle it up and down again. I'd assumed that logs would be preserved but I don't seem to be able to find any, it's as if they get cleared every time. I googled this and learned that CA fix common problems used to have a troubleshooting feature that has been deprecated and they now recommend the inbuilt syslog feature, which I enabled however no log files have been saved to the share i designated, either. I'm not overly sure what's wrong, can anyone help me figure out how to enable logging to figure this out? Thanks
December 20, 20196 yr you can enable "mirror syslog to flash" in settings->syslog server. This should place a syslog file on your flash drive and append to it on reboots. You should disable this once you're done troubleshooting as it can impact the life of your flash drive. Edited December 20, 20196 yr by soja
