FoxxMD
Application Name: shoginn-flightaware Application Site: https://uk.flightaware.com/adsb/flightfeeder/ Github Repo: https://github.com/ShoGinn/flightaware Docker Hub: https://hub.docker.com/r/shoginn/flightaware @ShoGinn <3 Template Repo: https://github.com/FoxxMD/unraid-docker-templates Overview FlightAware is a digital aviation company that operates a flight tracking and data platform. This docker contains the binary for FlightAware's FlightFeeder application, which consumes an ADSB feed and uploads the parsed data to FA. Usage To properly use this docker you must have: A sharing key received by registering an account on FA and then claiming a new receiver. An ADSB feed for the application to consume. If you have a radio device, like an RTL-SDR, you can use shoginn-dump1090 to create this feed. (Additional instructions on how to passthrough your RTL-SDR usb device are in the linked thread Edited January 14, 2020 by FoxxMD add shoginn mention Quote Link to comment
ShoGinn
Thanks! I have changed for CI/CD for my repos to now include both latest and the commit as part of the docker hub tags.. I did this only because having just latest was bad practice if something went screwy Quote Link to comment
daves
Great docker! I can get rid of my standalone Pi now. Thanks! I think the instructions need to be updated. The docker won't start without a FlightAware Feeder Key, and you cannot register a new receiver without starting the docker. I got it working by putting a bogus value into the docker config for FlightAware Feeder Key, starting the docker, claiming the receiver on the FlightAware website, and finally inserting the key from FlightAware website into the docker config. I am having the same issue and not sure where to put in the value. Thx Quote Link to comment
