November 28, 201015 yr i shut down my unraid (4.5.6) box gracefully (used the gui to shutdown) and then when i came back 3 hours later to switch on it does not go any further than this jpg can someone help please i do not have a clue why it's stuck here i have waited for at least 10 minutes and i have changed no hardware..
November 28, 201015 yr Author well i have some good news for myself, i think i managed to fix it by using a copy of unraid 4.6.rc2 i had lying around then i copied over the config directory from the old non working 4.5.6 and all "SEEMS" fine. I am not gonna copy anything from or too my unraid box until i can PLEASE get an okay from the guru's on this forum that it was the right fix i did. thanks for taking the time to read this....

I would run a checkdisk/scandisk on the USB flash drive. (Move it to a PC to perform the check) Your action should not have had any effect on the symptom you exhibited unless the contents of the bzroot/bzimage were corrupted. It might have masked the problem as the file-system on the flash drive was re-written when you copied a new config folder to it.
November 28, 201015 yr Author bad stick you think Joe L ?\ i deleted everything off the stick and then copied it back, good enough? or should i take other measures to make sure all is good with the stick? but did i do the right thing for my unraid setup and is all well to continue using the box you think ? so for the hard questions but you ARE the man and i need to know if i have done right by the unraid technology. thanks AGAIN for all your help you give to the community and me...
