I'm looking at getting a storinator from 45drives both for use as archive storage and using the cache as a media server for video editing. We already have 160TB on external drives that need a home, so i thought one of the Q30s would work for our needs. I was thinking us using nvme on pcie for the cache, are there hardware recommendations for this application? I am looking at using seagate nytro nvme but nothing has been purchased yet.
