Blurry text in VM

Featured Replies

This is not a major concern it has just been bugging me a bit. all my VM's have blurry text. This only occurs on my new laptop, any of my other usual machines that I remote into from do not have this problem. I have tried both edge and Firefox. both have the same blurry text problem. I have had no other issues with blurry text on this laptop. So far I have played around with the resolutions in the VM's which has not helped. I have also played around with the high dpi settings under compatibility in the firefox settings which has not helped.

Any other ideas on what to try?

quick edit: did a quick test on another laptop that was handy, looks like it is an issue across all machines. My laptop has a much better display than what I am used to so it looks like it is just more noticeable on it.

Have you been able to resolve this? My texts and icons are not sharp like that of the default VNC viewer. I dumped the vbios as I don't have two GPUs in my server. I followed Spaceinvader One's videos for the VMs as well.

My setup:

Ryzen 2700

Asus Prime X470-Pro

Zotac GTX 1660

I have tried Splashtop Streamer, Parsec (only see a black screen), and Jump. None of those give me the crisp image as the default viewer does. Also, my colors do seem vibrant either.
