Screwed up installing replacment drive

Featured Replies

I had a drive go down when I put the new drive in I clicked parity drive 2 instead of drive 3 ( the one needing replaced). I allowed it to build the parity drive. While that was happening I read online I can just stop the array and remove the parity drive then move it to the drive slot 3. When I tried that it it says to many changes and won't let me restart the array. I'm at my six drive limit so I can't replace drive 3 to rebuild it and then remove the extra parity drive. Any suggestion on what to do.

First unassign parity2 and start the array to make Unraid "forget" it, then you can re-assign it as a data disk.
