Michael Knisely: Dockers won't start or update

Featured Replies

I appear to be having the same issue.  /var/lib/docker is saying it is RO.

When I try to create a file at that location:
root@Knas:/var/lib/docker# touch foo
touch: cannot touch 'foo': Read-only file system

When I look at the mount:

root@Knas:/var/lib/docker# mount  | grep docker
/mnt/cache/system/docker/docker.img on /var/lib/docker type btrfs (rw)

When I look at the capacity:
root@Knas:/var/lib/docker# df -h | grep docker
/dev/loop2       20G  2.8G   17G  15% /var/lib/docker

The change I'd made is yesterday I implemented CA Backup last night and have an automated backup set to run this morning.

I split your post into its own thread. Even when you seem to have a similar issue the cause and fix may be completely different. We should let that other user have the support thread he already started, instead of getting your discussion mixed up with it.

Go to Tools - Diagnostics and attach the complete diagnostics zip file to your NEXT post.
