Built a new unraid server with a 8ter parity drive.

Is it normal for the first parity-sync/data rebuild to take a long time?

Its been running 3 days and it's only 25% complete.

There is no data on the array, all drivers where cleared and formatted as new.

Just wonder if this was normal?
