December 30, 20196 yr IOMMU group 12: [8086:a305] 00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation Z390 Chipset LPC/eSPI Controller (rev 10) [8086:a348] 00:1f.3 Audio device: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH cAVS (rev 10) [8086:a323] 00:1f.4 SMBus: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH SMBus Controller (rev 10) [8086:a324] 00:1f.5 Serial bus controller [0c80]: Intel Corporation Cannon Lake PCH SPI Controller (rev 10) [8086:15bc] 00:1f.6 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation Ethernet Connection (7) I219-V (rev 10) I've tried all the usual methods to try and isolate my audio device out of this group without success..... stubbing.... overide..... multifunction...etc.... I tried Spaceinvader's xml to seperate from a PCI bridge without success...... I didn't even think ISA was around these days..... Any tips please? Thanks in advance. December 31, 20196 yr Did the combination of downstream and multifunction ACS override methods not separate this out or at least make it better? I've had to use both to get anywhere before.
January 2, 20206 yr Author Yes, I had to use both downstream and multifunction to get as far as I have, including the above.......... That group is the only one that resolutely didn't split down any further, hence my frustration............
June 14, 20206 yr Did you ever figure out a fix for this? I'm having the same issue. Have tried every possible work around I can find and I can't split this IOMMU group up. Every other group split fine, just not the one in question.
