Corsair RMi, HXi, AXi PSU Statistics - CyanLabs's fork

Further note:  While the plugin used to simply have the display aberrations, under the next rev of the OS (currently private testing) having it installed will prevent the dashboard from even loading.  It is now marked as being incompatible until such time as the author lets me know it has been fixed

I don't use UnRAID anymore so i am unlikely to fix this. UnRAID has too many breaking changes honestly.

I have a version running on 6.12 ready. Are you okay with the decision that I continue this plugin?

@Fma965  / @giganode, I also have a seemingly working version here:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ashishpandey/corsairpsu-unraid/master/corsairpsu.plg

I have limited hardware to comprehensively test this, so if there is interest, can someone else try this and see if it works. All feedback welcome

Happy to contribute my changes to another repo, or to let CA point to my repo. I will be happy to take contributions too going forward. I just want the plugin to not hot a dead end with 6.12

Can some of you please test the plugins?

Here is my version. It should also maintain backwards compatibility (thanks to @SimonF😞

Happy for your feedback...

Nice work, you can PR it if you want and also i'll grant you access to the repo, or you can host your own, CA is already configured for my repo though so whichever way is fine with me.

I thought I'd test the backwards compatibility of @giganode version of the plugin but it won't install on 6.11.5 as the plugin reports that it needs at least version 6.12.0-beta7.

Any chance this will be sorted or should I just wait and update the plugin once I've moved to 6.12?

Initially, someone spoke to me to set the min version higher so we don't have a plugin shown twice in CA.

I lowered the minimum version to 6.11.5. You can try again now.

I got an AX1600i which I am trying to connect to, but I don't see a straightforward way (in the forum).

Got Unraid v6.11.5 and plugin v 2021.10.05 by Fma965.

The only setting I see is this one: Serial Device (Only needed for AXi PSU's): /dev/ttyUSB0

Any help I can get to get this sorted would be great. I'd like to avoid installing 1GB of Corsair bloatware in one of my VMs just to see those stats.

I'll dig deeper if needed, but I am not versed in Linux, CL or Unraid.

Thanks!!

I do have an ax1600i aswell, but sadly the psu is not supported.

When compatibility is added, I will inform you in this thread but I don't have high hopes right now.

Thanks, I'll keep watching this thread... Would be curious if there are others with ax1600i :)

Can anyone confirm if this works with the AX860i now or is this also an unsupported model?

Any idea what the issue might be here?

Unraid 6.12.0-rc6

Corsair plugin:

###2023.03.26e

- Repo forked from CyanLabs/corsairpsu-unraid. Made the necessary changes for UnRAID v.6.12.0-beta7 while maintaining backwards compatibility.

ttyUSB0 does appear when the AX860i is connected:

Apologies if I have missed something obvious

So the plugin was installed, but the command cpsumoncli was not found

Uninstalling from Apps didn't do anything, and the plugin would still show as installed.  Uninstalled from Plugins page

And then reinstalled from Apps.  Still not availalable in path and dashboard still not working

root@servername:~# /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/cpsumoncli
-bash: /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/cpsumoncli: Permission denied

ls -alh /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/
total 16K
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root  80 Mar 27 01:41 ./
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 100 Mar 27 01:41 ../
-rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 16K Mar 27 01:41 cpsumoncli
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root  60 Mar 27 01:41 libcpsumon/

Added executable permission:

 chmod +x /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/cpsumoncli

Now it's working!  Not sure if this is a new requirement in the latest RCs?

ps: I still can't execute cpsumoncli without specifying the full path: /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/cpsumoncli

Thats interesting... for me it is executable on 6.12.0-rc4.2

root@Node:~# cpsumoncli

usage: cpsumoncli <serial port device>

Just to clarify.. the plugin is now working as expected? Values are shown in the dashboard widget?

Which exact version of unraid are you running?

I'm running the latest RC:  Unraid Version: 6.12.0-rc6

Plugin: 2023.03.26e

It doesn't survive a reboot, so I get this:

image.png.36ed76a4c97b14c6aa4dcff97c1406b8.png

Until I run:

chmod +x /usr/local/bin/cpsumon/cpsumoncli

Then it starts working again:

To keep you informed... I actually didn't have the time to update to the new version yet.

I'm seeing this with my new hxi1000 running 6.12.0-rc7 any idea how I can sort this?

Pls try to run the command "corsairmi" in cli. If it fails, try this command and retry:

chmod +x /usr/local/bin/corsairmi

Does it work now?
