Going from version 5.X was a big change as version 5.X was 32bit and version 6.0 was 64bit (with no 32bit libraries to provide any 32bit support)!  Many members of the user group, who had been working with version 6 as Beta testers, began assembling instructions and a WIKI  to assist other users in making the conversions as, basically, one was installing and configuring the boot drive from scratch.  The first versions of these tutorials came online about two-and-half months prior to the initial release.  This did encourage more folks to upgrade to the Beta versions as the final touches and polishing were being completed by LimeTech.   Of course as more folks with more complex systems and requirements converted, more 'gotchas' in making the switch were encountered and  the WIKI grew by leaps and bounds.  A big shoutout to @RobJ for all his work in maintaining this WIKI.   I just checked and the Wiki is still available at

If you have a look, you can see effort that was required.
