tobistar3
Hey Guys, i have some problems with my GPU passthrough. In my Server i have an GTX 1070 and an 1050ti. But in the dropdown menu form the VM template i cant see the 1070 when its is in the primary slot in my mainboard. If i change it to the secoundary slot its show up but then my 1050ti is gone. Another waered thing is that only my 1050ti is in the "system devices" tab. On console and in the "Unraid NVIDIA" settings both GPU´s shown up. On top is the fact that when iam able to passthrough my 1070 to my VM its ran into the VREL limit and the performance is horrible. The Corsair PSU App shows that i draw only 230 watts under load so thats cant be the problem. Did anyone have an idea ? prime-diagnostics-20191225-0117.zip vm.xml vm edited by SpaceInvaderOne.xml Quote Link to comment
SpaceInvaderOne
Make sure in your bios settings that iommu is set to yes and not auto. Auto will only partially enable iommu (was done like this due to a bug in some version of win 10 i beleive that stopped the win 10 booting) Setting to enabled in bios will prob solve all your issues Quote Link to comment
tobistar3
Sadly it does not have an effect at all. I set it to "Yes" instead of "auto" but nothing changed. I think I might have a physical GPU issue. I hope i can test it this weekend. I will post my result after testing. Quote Link to comment
tobistar3
So i tested it and the 1070 seems to be working fine in a normal desktop PC. I have no idea what i can do now... Quote Link to comment
tobistar3
I have no clue why i cant see my 1070 in lspci on console but not on "System Devices" in the web UI Edit: i can´t see the primary GPU in this system. I have put my 1070 back into Slot 2 and now i see it but my 1050ti is gone... Edited January 12, 2020 by tobistar3 Quote Link to comment
