Fountainhead
I ordered an ASUS P5B-VM DO motherboard today, with 2 x 1GB matching RAM. Then I noticed that unRAID only supports 1 GB. Am I to assume that the additional 1 GB will simply be ignored by unRAID, or will having 2 GB in the server actually cause problems? Quote Link to comment
limetech
Yes, currently linux build we're using only supports up to 1G (actually a bit less). There shouldn't be any reason why we couldn't turn on so-called "high memory" support, other than time it would take us to thoroughly test the unraid driver. No harm in having more, it just won't get used Quote Link to comment
