Virtual Machine maxing all CPU cores

Featured Replies

running a server 2019 VM using Ryzen 5 3600, assigned 3 logical cpu cores and 16GB RAM

When i start up the VM, the entire unraid server locks up, and all 12 threads are maxed out.  It looks like the main virtual machine image is the issue, but i have no idea why its just started doing this

Any ideas?  Link to pic below

thanks

Any ideas guys, this is killing my server?

Please post the diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics

I think i might have figured this out, it looks like when the Ark server performs an auto save, it compressed the file which maxes out the CPU

Although this really shouldn't happen, when the VM is only allocated a few cores - it shouldn't max out the host CPU entirely

While the CPU are maxing out. Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file on your next post.

I'll try to, but to be honest it locks the server up so bad, you can't even change tabs!  I had to physically push the power button last time

+1 for also running into similar issues! not this bad but enough to kill a Virt NIC sometimes which requires a reboot of my VM.
