Stucked on IOMMU "Disabled"

hello - unRAID has  been running perfectly, but when i tried setting up VMs, where it told me IOMMU was disabled. I went through the BIOS however, and IOMMU is definatley enabled, does anyone can help this? Thanks,

That option you took a screenshot for is VT-x.  There's another option (hopefully) buried in the BIOS options that's labelled VT-d

Thanks, but i can not find any other vt options in my BIOS😭😭

maybe the motherbord can not support VT-D?

and when i use hyper-v in windows10 ,the Ethernet port can pass through to VMs

I can't find a manual for that motherboard.  Sometimes it's labelled as IOMMU, or under very rare circumstances as Vandenberg Technology

I want to start a software router and PLEX server. hardware passthrough can help to achive the best performance on the router. Also  Plex need passthrough to enable graphic card hardware decode I think.

 

without passthrough, plex server can not decode 4K videos because the CPU performance is not enough

Plex doesn't require hardware passthough in order to utilize hardware decoding when running as a docker container

 

Are there even multiple NICs on that board for using a VM as a router?

I will use USB3.0 RJ45 Adapter to have more eth port :)

so plex server hardware decoding don't need graphic card passthough? yeh!
