How do I add VLANs?

I'm trying to add a secondary IP address to unRAID so hypervisors can access it from that IP (and thus move the noise to another VLAN) but I keep trying to set it up and it just won't stick.

 

Whatever I try, when I click on DONE, I'm taken immediately back to the previous page (Settings) and changes are lost.

 

I searched the documentation but the section pertaining to this is beyond vague, I mean…

There's no Apply. (It's not available)

I tried adding it but it makes no difference. It should not need it though; as long as it does not need to route traffic out of that subnet, there's no need for a gateway and there's already a gateway specified in the existing config anyway.
