Multi-Monitor setup and resolution

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am running the latest unRaid stable release with a graphics card that has 2 HDMI outputs and 1 displayport. I have 3 TVs connected. The unraid server runs shinobi monitoring (CCTV) and that works great an all, but I'd like to show on the TVs the live-image for the security employee to monitor. I'm doing this at a non-profit organization and therefore looking for a free or as-low-as-possible-cost-solution.

I'm currently getting only 1024x768 out of the HDMI port on 1 TV and I'm wondering how to handle this. Is unRAID capable of running multi-monitor? Or should I go for a virtual machine that I assign the graphics-card to?

Any help, direction, etc. would be highly appreciated.

Thank you!

The Unraid display driver is very basic so you almost certainly will need to set up a VM to better utilise the GPU.
