January 7, 20206 yr I can not get the onboard video(ASPEED AST2500) to work with Unraid. The BIOS splash screen works fine, but after booting Unraid the system just restarts. If i add a dedicated GPU i get output on that, but i want to pass the gpu through to a VM. What can i do to fix this? Do i need to install drivers? If so which ones? Specs: Motherboard: Asus P11C-M/4L https://www.asus.com/us/Commercial-Servers-Workstations/P11C-M-4L/ CPU: Xeon E-2224 Onboard Video: ASPEED AST2500 https://www.aspeedtech.com/support.php edit: URLs added Edited January 7, 20206 yr by znj59134

I was talking about the BIOS/UEFI splash screen. If i add a GPU everything works fine.(I tested with an old Nvidia 8400 GS) But i want to pass the gpu through to a VM and i don't have enough slots for 2 GPUs. That's why i need the onboard video/BMC to work. There are linux drivers available, i just don't know which to install: https://www.aspeedtech.com/support.php Edited January 8, 20206 yr by znj59134

January 9, 20206 yr Any chance you can switch to another processor? Intel Xeon E-2244G Offers Intel UHD Graphics and will take precedence over the AST2500.
