After 6.8.0 Upgrade SMB is VERY Slow

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I just upgraded to 6.8 and so far everything is great except for when I need to do folder listings from the server. In the previous version a huge folder with 1000's of files might take 5-10 seconds now it's 30+ seconds. I want to say I had this problem some time ago and the answer was to revert back to SMB1. When I did a check I did see that the Windows 10 machine was using SMB 3.1.1 to read from the server and in SMB in the Settings there was nothing there to revert it back which may have been removed in the upgrade?

I'm not sure if there's a good answer for this, I already use "Folder Caching" the plugin so I'm wondering if there's something else I can do to speed it up?
