Only 16 Cores are shown for TR 3970X (32 Cores CPU)

Tried out UnRAID today with the new threadripper CPU. While it works, it only displays 16 cores instead of the 32 logical cores it should. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file.

Also, did you turn on SMT in the BIOS?

Sorry my bad I meant to say it should have 64 logical cores and 32 physical ones, so it's not related to SMT.
I attached an image of the cores and the diagnostics file.

As a side note, checking directly on the command line:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

also only reports 16 cores/ processors (might be a kernel related problem).

Are you sure you didn't deactivate the cores in the BIOS?

It's highly unusual for the OS to not report the full CPU cores like that. I believe there are other members on the forum with the same CPU and I don't think anyone has reported strange stuff like yours.

Perhaps also try booting in Safe Mode, in case some plugins are interfering with it too.

Certainly sounds like a misconfigured BIOS setting.

Your Cache values are also reporting half of what they need to be:

I'm checking your motherboard manual for where there might be a setting for # of Cores or the like. Seen other Mobos with such a setting
