monkiefone
So. I’m currently running a Ryzen 1700 in an Asrock B450 pro4 motherboard. It’s been running well since it’s build when the cpu was released. I purchased a 3700x for an upgrade, updated my motherboard bios to accept the zen 2 cpu but then could not get any of my PCIe devices to pass through. I use my server to run 2x windows vm’s plus an OSX test vm. Has anyone got this or a similar combo up and running before I return the 3700x and get a 2700x instead? thanks. Quote Link to comment
david279
You need a bios version with at least agesa 1.0.0.4 patch b. That version fixes passthrough. The first bios versions that added ryzen 3000 support broke GPU passthrough. Quote Link to comment
monkiefone
Thank you. I've now updated the bios again and now have IOMMU enabled. I am still struggling with PCIe passthrough. Can anyone suggest which Bios settings I may have missed? Thank you. Quote Link to comment

monkiefone
I cannot assign any of the PCIe devices to any of the VM's (gpu in this case) Quote Link to comment

What errors do you get? I would suggest a good starting point is to watch SpaceInvaderOne guides on Youtube. If you follow the guides and still have issues then come back with specific questions. Emphasis on "specific"! Also, with all queries about issues, Tools -> Diagnostics -> attach zip file to post. Quote Link to comment
