January 13, 20206 yr As I could get those for fairly cheap in the EU, can anyone confirm if the driver present in unRAID supports them? Thanks! https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Ibm-QLE8142-IBMX-Dual-Port-10-Gbit-S-SFP-Sr-Cna-San-Lan-Server-Adapter-42C1802/153604243382

February 18, 20206 yr Author In case someone stumbles here, wanted to report that I am successfully running the card in my NAS with both 10Gbit interfaces in adaptive load balancing and have no issues.
February 20, 20206 yr Can you confirm if the device you have has pci product id 0x8000 or 0x8012? It can be checked with `lspci -vnn`. All such devices I've seen so far have id 0x8012. Thanks.
April 14, 20206 yr Author Sorry for being super late here, it's 0x8000, checked both unraid and windows.
May 3, 20206 yr No problem, no rush on my part. Thanks a lot for the detailed info. Actually, I doubled-checked and the adapters I worked with in the past were also 1077:8000 (and also subsys 1077:017A), my bad I'm sorry. It's the other way around, I've never seen 0x8012! I thought that the IBM-branded OEM adapters might have a different id. The same driver (qlge) registers support for both ids.
September 14, 20205 yr Hi, I am a newbie here, I have the QLE8142 same card dual 2 X CNA cards. Tried to install one on windows 10 and one on UNRAID. Both of them not taking this cards. Could you please help me out how to make it work. Thanks
