im planning on using obs (application) to twitch (streaming service) and thought about using a linux vm. looked but couldnt find a tutorial. everything seems to be for windows which i will try next. overall just thinking linux would demand less hardware to just run and transcode on obs compared to using windows instead. i have dumped video card and have the shared path ready to be placed in the xml but dont know what to change in the xml.

    err wish more tutorials would have mentioned that to passthrough hardware IOMMU VT-d is required. turns out my cpu sites between two versions that do but my K doesnt.
