January 19, 20206 yr I have an old motherboard I use for flashing, EFI bios often makes it more difficult espectially whey you are cross flashing, e.g. Dell / HP to LSI firmware. If you need to use your unraid server, make a bootable USB (Rufus) with the software on, remove the unraid unraid and replace with the firmware usb. Only issue would be if this is a second controller. When you are done, swap back to unraid.
