January 18, 20206 yr I just completed the upgrade to 6.8.1 and my Dockers are gone. Before the upgrade, I stopped all dockers and VM's and disabled the Docker and VM Engines. After the upgrade Docker and VM Engines are runnign but no Dockers. What did I do wrong?
January 18, 20206 yr Community Expert A new docker image was created at service start, which suggests none existed in the set path, but you can just restore your apps: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/57181-docker-faq/?do=findComment&comment=564309
January 18, 20206 yr Author Ok I was able to do that and re-create my dockers in no time. All of my config settings were preserved. The share where my docker.img was located was on an unassigned device device(ssd). I also had sabnzbd complaining at the same time that it couldn't connect to the share(same share where docker.img was located). Now it is working fine. That is a bit concerning.
January 18, 20206 yr Author Prior to the upgrade I 1. Stopped all dockers 2. Shutdown all VMs 3. Disabled the Docker Engine 4. Disabled the VM Engine 5. Performed 6.8.1 Upgrade 6. Upgraded UD Plugin Could I have avoided this by doing it differently?
January 19, 20206 yr Community Expert Usually you don't e even need to stop the services, just upgrade, reboot and are good to go, like mentioned problem could be related to having the docker image on a UD device because of the recent changes with the plugin.
