How to prevent users from accessing certain shares without hide the folder in unRAID

Featured Replies

I'm trying to set up shares in unRaid, but I'm having difficulties setting permissions.

How to do I set permission so only a specific user can access it? Meaning how to I remove the read-only for the rest of the users.

You just keep it as export = yes, but you make it private so nobody can access it, but registed users, and only if they have specific rights to it, else nope.

I get how the help window could be confusing in the wording.

It would leave no room to interpretation if it said:
"No guest access at all, you select which of your users have read/write or read-only access, or no access either."
